FernWaterPlan does not collect, gather, or share any personal information. Your garden lives entirely on your own phone.
Everything you add stays in local storage on your phone.
No accounts and no internet permission — it works in airplane mode.
Nothing you do is measured, profiled, or sold.
FernWaterPlan is a plant watering scheduler that helps you keep track of your houseplants and water them on time. This policy explains, plainly, how the app handles your information. The answer is refreshingly short: it keeps everything on your device and asks for nothing about you.
None. The app does not ask for your name, email, contacts, or location in order to work. Anything you choose to type — such as a plant’s name or a gardener nickname — is saved only on your device, for your own use.
So your garden is still there next time you open the app, FernWaterPlan keeps the following in your phone’s own local storage:
Purely to make the app work for you: to show what needs water today, draw your history and streaks, and remember how you like things set up. It stays on your device and is never used for advertising or profiling.
Your data remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can edit or remove any plant and its history at any time from within the app. Uninstalling FernWaterPlan permanently removes everything it has stored.
Because everything is local, you are always in full control. There is no account to close and no data held elsewhere — deleting a plant or uninstalling the app is all it takes to erase the corresponding information for good.
FernWaterPlan is suitable for all ages. Because it gathers no personal information and keeps everything on the device, it aligns with children’s privacy rules such as COPPA and GDPR-K by design.
If this policy is ever updated, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Any meaningful change to how the app handles information would arrive as part of an app update.
